I dreamt that I drowned in a lake but I could breathe under the water. I got stuck under the water so I fell asleep. The next day my mom was standing with my husband at the shore while emergency people drained the lake to find my body. My mom was crying and my husband put a comforting arm around her. Mommy asked him why he was smiling. He was look at the water and said “her spirit is still with me “. When they drained the lake it removed whatever was holding me down, so I sat up and was facing the shore where mommy and Bobbie (husband) was standing. So I got up and started walking to the shore and mommy was shocked.
This dream could symbolize deep emotions and a sense of being overwhelmed or "drowned" by certain aspects of your life. The ability to breathe underwater may reflect resilience or adaptability in the face of challenges. However, feeling stuck underwater and falling asleep suggests a desire for escape or a need to distance yourself from difficult circumstances. The presence of your mom and husband at the shore represents the support and connection you have with loved ones. Your mom's tears indicate her grief or emotional pain, while your husband's smile and belief in your spirit being with him imply his enduring love and a sense of spiritual connection. The draining of the lake may represent a process of releasing and confronting emotions or memories that have been holding you back. As the lake is drained, it removes whatever has been burdening you, allowing you to resurface and move towards the shore. Your mom's shock may indicate surprise or disbelief at witnessing your transformation. Overall, this dream could symbolize a longing for emotional release, support from loved ones, and a desire to overcome challenges or burdens that have been weighing you down. It may be an invitation to explore ways to confront and process your emotions, seek support where needed, and embrace a sense of spiritual connection in your life.
